Swede mash is, I think, one of the great underrated Mashes. Mashing Swede is a fun way to introduce your kids to the joys of cooking (and eating healthy!). Beautiful with Roast Pork
Ingredients:
4 medium to large Swedes
1 cup of cream.
2 tablespoons of butter
salt and pepper to season
Method:1. Peel the Swedes and Place in water
2. Bring to boil and cook.
3. When done strain, return to pot and Mash , adding cream and butter (more can be added for better consistency)
4. Season to taste
5. Serve warm with some roast Pork
