Turnip and Carrot Mash

Turnip and Carrot Mash is fantastic mash combination that is a delight to eat and very affordable too! If you have any Mashed Turnip and Carrot leftover (a big if!) it freezes well.


Ingredients:
2-3 Turnips
3-4 Carrots
1 cup of Cream
2 tablespoons of butter
Season to taste

Method:

    1. Peel the Turnips & Carrots and Cook separately
    2. Once cooked, Strain, and return to the pots
    3. Keep separate and mash Turnip and Carrots individually, gradually adding the cream and butter
    4 Combine the turnips and Carrot mash into one bowl/serving dish
    5. Season and serve warm
