Some like it hot. I like it even hotter. This Wasabi Mashed Potato Recipe is perhaps not for everyone, but I do like it. If its too hot for your try cooling your mouth down with a Japanese beer , such as Asahi
Ingredients:
6 large potatoes
1 cup of cream
1 tablespoon of wasabi paste
1/2 cup green onion, diced
Pepper to taste
Method:1. Peel and cube the potatoes then boil in salted, boiling water until cooked
2. Drain and return to pot
3. Mash the potatoes, gradually adding the milk
4. Add the green onions and wasabi paste the mash. Stir until incorporated well and serve warm.
5. Put a bit of cracked pepper over the top. Enjoy.
