There is nothing quite as satisfying as a large serving of piping hot mashed potatoes straight out of the pot. Unless (of course) it’s a serving of Mashed Potatoes with Herbs and Cheese. Simply Delicious! Enjoy.
Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes. Washed, peeled and cubed
3/4 cup of milk.
1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of butter
1 tablespoon of chopped dill (dried or fresh)
1 tablespoon of chopped chives (dried or fresh)
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley (dried or fresh)
Pepper and salt to taste.
Method:1. Cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes, or until tender.
2. Drain
3. Melt the butter slightly in the microwave then add to the potatoes with the milk and mash
4. Add the cheese and continue to mash
5. Stir through the herbs and salt and the seasonings (as required)
7. Serve with… well just eat it as it is – Yum! Enjoy
