Guinness Gravy

Ingredients:
Cooked meat juices
1 tablespoon of flour
1 tablespoon of Brown sugar
1 tablespoon of Raisins
300 ml Guinness
Chopped parsley

Method:

1. To the juices of the meat add the raisions and brown sugar
2. Pour in the Guinness, cover and simmer over a low heat. Allow to reduce, stiring occasionally
3. Add flour a beat in, until mixture thickens.
4. Pepper to taste
5. Pour over your Irish Mashed Potatoes Recipe and enjoy

Mashed Potato Gravy Recipe

This delectable mashed potato gravy recipe is another easy and quick way to make great tasting gravy. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself going back for seconds and thirds. If you don’t have a spare packet of onion soup mix sitting in your pantry you could try substituting it with some vegetable stock or try using this other gravy recipe here


Ingredients:
Juices from cooked meat
2 tablespoons of self-raising flour
1 can of mushroom soup
1 packet of onion soup mix

Method:

1. Pour any juices from your cooked meat into a bowl and
2. Whilst cooking over a medium heat for 2 - 3 minutes, until bubbly. Stir in flour and onion soup mix until well blended.
3. Add the can of mushroom soup
4. Add pepper and salt to taste and your done.
5. Pour over your mash potatoes and enjoy!
