This welsh mashed potato recipe is in continuing my tradition (or obsession!) with mash recipes from around the globe. Check out my Irish Mashed Potato Recipe for another worldly mash idea.
Ingredients:
6-8 mid-sized potatoes
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of mature cheddar cheese
a pinch of nutmeg
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Method: 1. Cook the potatoes until done
2. Drain the water from the vegetables and place back into pan.
3. Mash the potatoes with butter and milk, adding cheese, worcestershire sauce, nutmeg. Season with pepper/salt to taste.
4. Serve and sprinkle some nutmeg generously over the top.
